Dimplex Japan Opens new Renewables Centre in Sapporo, Japan – 27th January 2012
Glen Dimplex has announced the formal opening of a new Renewable Energy facility at their offices in Sapporo, Japan. The company has also unveiled its new showroom, which exhibits information and products aimed at non-residential establishments - the first of its kind in the market. The opening ceremony was held on the 27th of January in Sapporo with guests from industry, academia and the government. Special guests included Mr John Neary, Irish Ambassador to Japan, and Mr Sean O’Driscoll, CEO and Chairman, Glen Dimplex Group.
The Opening of Energy Generating and Energy Saving Informational Facility “The Dimplex Green Labo”
The showroom has been designed as an information centre for renewable energy heating solutions aimed at mid to large sized non-residential facilities such as offices, hot springs resorts, agricultural facilities and the construction arena. It also showcases the Dimplex Japan product line-up and contains a laboratory where visitors can experience cooling/heating radiators and convector systems. Additionally, it presents the mechanics and structures of the products, has a room specifically designed to train maintenance procedures, and introduces examples of pilot plants that are already in operation.
