The Lec brand was added to the GDHA portfolio in 2005, giving Glen Dimplex Home Appliances a presence in the cooling market. With a heritage dating back to the 1940s, the Lec brand is a firm favourite with consumers in the UK. An all new range of refrigerator, fridge and freezer appliances was launched in 2006.

Glen Dimplex Home Appliances manufactures and markets freestanding, built-in and range cooking appliances under the Stoves, Belling and New World brands, and cooling products under the Lec brand. Cooking appliances are produced for use with gas, electric or dual fuel, and a collection of matching cooker hoods. They also offer a wide selection of non-cooking appliances including refrigeration and dishwashers. The Lec range of refrigerators, fridges and freezers are available in all the popular widths and heights, including under counter, 60cm and built-in.
